During a recent site visit to a client who was renovating a property near Rotherham I asked him how he was doing with the new solar installation
He said that through December and January there had been times when he had been able to get enough hot water do a bit of pot and hand washing.
Not bad for a property that doesn’t even have a boiler fitted.
Solar Thermal Hot Water is a no-brainer if you have about 7m2 of south facing roof.
Once installed the system has almost zero running and maintenance cost.
